This is
the first original art I've made available in this online store, so I'm
starting small with 8 preliminary pencil sketches from The Gingerbread Pirates, by
Kristin Kladstrup. If people seem interested, I'll add more. Each sketch was done in pencil on a sheet of 9" x 12" sketchbook paper. These are the sketches I submitted to my art director at Candlewick before I got the go-ahead to start the final art for the book. Click here to see all 8 sketches.
