If people seem interested, I'll add more. Each sketch was done in pencil on a sheet of 9" x 12" sketchbook paper. These are the sketches I submitted to my art director at Candlewick before I got the go-ahead to start the final art for the book. The final paintings from The Gingerbread Pirates are also available.
